World Health Organization Pandemic Phase - Phase 3: No or very limited human-to-human transmission (An Influenza Pandemic situation report, which contains an explanation of the WHO Pandemic Phases, is attached to this situation report and updated every Tuesday)

DHS&EM is monitoring the impact of extremely cold weather statewide. There is no request for state assistance at this time.

Alaska Volcanoes, current status report as of 12:19 PM today:
Shishaldin Volcano
Current Aviation Color Code: Yellow
Current Volcano Alert Level: Advisory
AVO continues to detect a thermal anomaly in satellite views of Shishaldin Volcano. Seismicity remains unchanged. Yesterday, AVO raised the Aviation Color Code to YELLOW and the Volcano Alert Level to ADVISORY.

Cleveland Volcano
Current Aviation Color Code: Yellow
Current Volcano Alert Level: Advisory
Analysis of partly cloudy satellite images shows no evidence of continuing activity.

Redoubt Volcano
Current Aviation Color Code: Yellow
Current Volcano Alert Level: Advisory
Seismic activity at Redoubt remains at low levels.
