Alaska Support to Hurricane Gustav
The Alaska National Guard has deployed Alaska resources to Louisiana for approximately 15 days in support of the emergency response to Hurricane Gustav.  DHS&EM continuous to monitor EMAC broadcasts for potential additional request in support of the 2008 hurricane season.

Tanana Basin Flooding
The Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management’s State Disaster Assistance Program remains open for individuals and families who sustained damages to their primary residence, personal property, and transportation during the July/August 2008 flooding event.  To apply, call toll free, 1-800-921-3682. The deadline to apply for State Disaster Assistance is 3 October 2008.
