Threat Level Changes
No change.

Tanana Basin Flooding
Heavy rain over several days has caused flooding in areas of the Tanana River basin.  Please see the attached incident situation report for details.

Flood Warning
The National Weather Service in Fairbanks continues the flood warning for the Central Interior which remains in effect until noon AKDT Wednesday for the Tanana River from Old Minto to Manley Hot Springs. The flood crest on the Tanana River is moving past Manley Hot Springs today. Water levels on the Tanana River between Old Minto to Manley Hot Springs will gradually fall through Wednesday.

Travel Advisories
The DOT&PF, Fairbanks District Maintenance & Operations has issued a travel advisory for the Fairbanks District Roadways:  
-Due to culvert installation, the Richardson Highway will be closed from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am August 4, 5, 6 and 7.  Traffic will be stopped at the BLM Paxson Lake Campground and at the Paxson Lodge - mile posts 174 - 185.  The road will be open to traffic during the day.  There will be lane restrictions and pilot cars throughout the area.  Expect delays of approximately 30 minutes.  Work will continue on this project until mid September.

Ashfall Advisory
The National Weather Service in Anchorage has issued an ashfall advisory for the Eastern Aleutians including Unalaska and Nikolski. An ashfall advisory remains in effect until 12 pm AKDT Wednesday.  Seismic activity indicates that volcanic ash emissions continue from Okmok Volcano. Ash is moving west to southwest from the volcano. This movement is expected to continue through into Wednesday. Light ashfall is expected across Umnak Island.
