The Required Montly Test (RMT) for January was successfully sent from the State Emergency Operations Center at 10:20 AM this morning.  Due to technical problems, the test was sent via our legacy EAS Encoder.  As occurred during the last RMT, a faint tapping sound was heard in the audio portion of the message.
 
Stations observed in the State EOC:
 
750 AM KFQD
96.3 FM KDBZ
GCI Cable
CH2 KTUU
CH 11 KTVA
CH 7 KAKM
 
State Relay Network Stations and Local Primary 1 Stations should log on to http://www.surveymonkey.com/alaska_rmt and log results of the test.
