Fisher Chief of Operations Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management From: Fisher, Bryan J (MVA) Sent: Wednesday, March 25, 2009 9:30 AM To: 'eas@list.state.ak.us' Subject: March 25, 2009 **Special** Required Monthly Test Importance: High The Required Monthly Test for March will be conducted this morning, March 25, at approximately 9:45 AM.  The test will be conducted utilizing the TSW (Tsunami Warning) event code instead of the RMT code.  The test will be initiated by the National Weather Service.   All subject broadcasters and cable system operators are encouraged to send a status message to rmt_status@ak-prepared.com upon completion of the test.  Please include your station call sign and whether or not the test was successful or not in the subject line of your email.  In the body, please include the time received and rebroadcast, and on what monitoring source you receive the test.  If you do not receive the test please visit http://fc.ak-prepared.com/rmt_status.  This site may help you determine any upstream problems with transmission of the test.   Additionally, participants are encouraged to visit http://www.tsunami.gov/test to report receipt.
