World Health Organization Pandemic Phase - Phase 3: No or very limited human-to-human transmission (An Influenza Pandemic situation report, which contains an explanation of the WHO Pandemic Phases, is attached to this situation report and updated every Tuesday)

Rural Alaska Fuel Shortages
The City of Saint George issued a disaster declaration with a request for state assistance Monday due to the ongoing fuel shortage and the current power outage to critical facilities.  The DHSEM Operations section received the declaration Tuesday and is currently evaluating the request for state assistance.
DHS&EM Operations continues to coordinate fuel delivery efforts and is working to reduce potential life safety issues resulting from fuel shortages at several coastal communities including Nikolski and St George.  Nikolski received a delivery of 12,000 gallons of fuel this weekend.  Coordination with Karluk on issues resulting from fuel shortage situation continues.
