West Coast Storm
The Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management multi-agency field teams deployed to Bethel and Nome in support of the 23 Sep West Coast Alaska storm are back in Anchorage. The Disaster Policy Cabinet met this morning to determine if the 23 Sep West Coast storm warrants a State disaster declaration.
Travel advisory
Fairbanks and surrounding areas to include Birch Lake to Delta. Use extreme caution when traveling through these areas due to rain and snow mix causing road surfaces to freeze. Reduce speeds, and travel with caution.
