Winter Storm Warnings
The National Weather Service has issued winter storm warnings for the following areas:
- Western Arctic Coast – until noon Friday for the Cape Lisburne area
- Northwestern Brooks Range including Singiluk and Umiat – in passes until 6AM Friday
- Chukchi Sea Coast including Point Hope, Shishmaref, Kivalina and Espenberg – until 6AM Friday
- Lower Kobuk And Noatak Valleys including Noatak, Kiana and Red Dog Mine – through 6AM Friday
- Baldwin Peninsula and Selawik Valley including Kotzebue, Selawik and Noorvik – until 6AM Friday
- Northern and Interior Seward Peninsula including Buckland, Deering, Candle, Council, Haycock, Pilgrim Springs, Serpentine Hot Springs and Taylor – until 11 PM tonight
- Southern Seward Peninsula Coast including Nome, White Mountain and Golovin – until 11PM tonight
- St Lawrence Island And Bering Strait Coast including Gambell, Savoonga, Brevig Mission, Teller, Wales and Diomede – until 11PM tonight
- Yukon Delta including Emmonak, Mountain Village, Alakanuk, Kotlik, Pilot Station, St Marys, Scammon Bay, Nunam Iqua and Pitkas Point – until 6PM today
High Wind Warnings
The National Weather Service has issued high wind warnings for the following areas:
- Southeast Prince William Sound – for the Copper River Delta through today
- Cape Fairweather to Cape Suckling Coastal Area – for interior passes through today
- Juneau Borough and Northern Admiralty Island including Juneau – through today
Blizzard Warning
The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning through today for Taiya Inlet and the Klondike Highway including Skagway.
