The saltwater contamination in the source water for the Nunam Iqua water plant has dropped enough to be useable again. The water plant started pumping operations, and has filled the treatment tank. The loop to the storage tank is still frozen and water plant operators are working to thaw the loop to allow filling of the storage tank. The community has enough water left from the deliveries last week to last for a few more days.
